I am sooooo happy! everything went so smoothly..everyone enjoyed themselves and everyone got to know everyone better:) for the past few weeks i have been stressing bout organising the LKC scholars gathering + dinner with senior&Prof Ong. I had to coordinate between Hogs and the organisers, plan the games, set the menu, call pple up, make changes and more changes, had to face so many last minute situation and poor response from the pple. was extremely stressed up. Actually it was really the Hogs thing that made me stressed. Felt so terrible that they pushed the price till so low just for me. Moreover there are pple in Hogs that are not exactly that encouraging as well..mood was wayyyyy low. PLUS chunyat had to be so horribly mean to me during that period. But i am just glad its all over now. Luckily i worked pretty well with the organising team(especially my darling priscilla who was so awfully sweet and supportive). didn't know organising a gathering can be that much chore..
Anywaysss. The afternoon event was basically just for the 2006 batch of scholars. We created a list of 25 tasks, spilt the ppl into 3 groups, gave them $40 each and have them sent off to complete their tasks. It was pretty fun for them i guess coz we made sure we include interesting stuff like taking a group neoprint, finding 2 live ants, taking pic with an angmoh on the street and stuff like that. I am glad everyone cooperated and were quite enthu bout everything. They even completed their forfeits. awesomeeeeee.
dinner was at hogs, they all enjoyed their food:) (obviously) and played the pictionary game. Seniors though few were very interactive. everything went better than expected. efforts not wasted. doro is stress-free now. Yippie!
