OMG!! Its been forever since i blogged. I have been SOOOOOO busy working. someone please pity me. First i have my Visa job that is draining every single bit of my energy away. See basically we have to go to the head office and get stocks which actually are POS (I forgot what it stands for..i think its "point of sale" if i am not wrong.) anywayssssssss..yah after we carry those SUPER HEAVY things back home. We gotta head to our assigned areas. Everyday the quota is 35 shops. And Basically this is what i say when i step into a shop. (oh before i step in, I have to already take notice of any decals pasted outside the shop)
"Hi, I am dorothy, marketing agent for Visa. I am here to inform you that there are a few changes with Visa." (take out guide card, open my file to a fresh survey page, start looking out for mastercard, amex and diners logos in the shop)
"basically there are 3 changes"(point at card)
"First, Visa is changing logo, Second, the hologram (when i have to speak in mandarin, i just call it the "niao") is now integrated with the magnetic strip behind and lastly the flying V is now removed."
"Old card is going to circulate till 2010 (circle '2010' on the card with my pen) and the new card has been out since last year (circle '2005' on card)."
"May i know your name? "(Fill in form)
"Are you the manager?" (Tick accordingly in my form)
"Do you accept Amex and diners? "(tick accordingly)
"May i Know which bank provide you with your terminals?" (tick accordingly)
Then at this moment, i have to try my best to stick all my POS in their shops. This is really tricky coz you can't really give them any chance to say 'no'. I have to like DA DA DA. paste everything at the quickest speed. so i will be like "ok i give you NEW penholder and paste the new logo outside for you. you want open and close door sign? take la, its free anyway. ok thank you that's it"
And all that happens within 5 mins and that includes taking picture of the shop inside and outside.
I can't believe i just typed out what i said today for 38 times today..........

SEE! This is the stocks at home for the next 3 days. I carried all that home!!!!!!!! It must have weighed 100000kg......

For me i gotta finish every single shop in Jurong Point and IMM. Both is horrid. Let me start with IMM. IMM is like a bloody maze. when i thought i am done with a lane, i turn round the corner and BAM! another whole stetch of shops. then when i am done. BAM! another. and then another. Freaking irritating.
And Jurong Point Kicked me out on my first day there!!!!!!!!! so my supervisor gotta send them a letter to let me in. and now i have to go to the security office (which is damn ulu) and get a pass.
And you think just like that i will get my $1800/mth? NO WAY! after i go home, i gotta upload every single survey form for that day + all the pictures i took. that takes me normally 2-3 hours. yah. so my job basically sucks. and now sophie is quiting...which made my job suckier.

Lucky i have my dear boyfriend popping by once in a while to carry things for me:)

Then i have my the other job. Which sucks too. telemarketing with toe. I think i am really overworking. After my dayjob, i rushhhhhh home and get changed then rushhhhhhh to TOAPAYOH for another 3 hours of non-stop talking. so basically i have 2 scripts memorized. 1st is stated above. the 2nd....
"hi, can i speak to ___________"
"Good evening, this is dorothy calling on behalf of Dickon from DTZ" ( at this point, i have to repeat DTZ a thousand times. coz normally people will start going .."what?? TTZ? what you say? or like..what what Z? where??? or like...what is that???)
"yah, we have buyers interested in a house in __________.may i ask if you are interested in selling your place?"
"or rent?"
"my agent will be able to advise you, Is it ok if he meet up with you for a non-obligation discussion?" (this is what decides my additional $8)
Yah..so i will just be calling and calling and calling and calling.
So far, i have people shouting vulgarity at me, threatening me, saying "are you kidding" to me, hanging up on me, laughing at me, ask me where they can go if they sell their house, and shouting "you are harassing me" at me :))

Then i still have my J2 tuition girl to teach. That i have to mug for like 2 days beforehand..coz she is so hardworking.
Basically my life sucks now. HAAH!

and today i took cab from head office to home. it costed $18. see how hard money comes and how easy it goes!?!?!
